Coley developed a web-based course entitled “Grief and Bereavement: Strategies for Practice,” to explore the prevailing cultural attitudes toward death and loss and how these attitudes affect the grief process of individuals and families; to provide a description of the task or process of grief recovery; and to offer suggestions about how to facilitate the grief process.
The course contained six lessons, each with its own objectives, content, references, review and self evaluation. Each lesson consisted of 10 to 20 pages of content and included images, checklists, tables and external links.
